The Georgian Theatre Royal has unveiled its 2025 Spring/Summer season, promising a vibrant line-up of drama, music, comedy, and family-friendly entertainment. Tickets are now on sale for a programme that caters to all tastes and interests.
“This season is packed with excitement, from returning favourites to fresh new acts,” said CEO Jo Mawhinney. “Highlights include the world premiere of The Moth by Elysium Theatre Company, stunning musical performances, and captivating children’s theatre. There’s truly something for everyone.”
Drama enthusiasts can look forward to gripping productions such as The Picture of Dorian Gray (11 April) and Hannay Stands Fast (17 May). Fans of musical theatre will be drawn to The Flood (1 May), inspired by the 2015 Hebden Bridge floods, while Dyad Productions returns with That Knave Raleigh (8 April) and A Room of One’s Own (18 July).
Music highlights include A Tributes to Sting and the Police (1 March) and The Bluejays who take you through the meteoric rise of rock ’n’ roll (9 May), alongside appearances from the legendary Budapest Café Orchestra (21 June) and Snake Davis with Gareth Moulton (28 June).
Comedy lovers can enjoy performances from top stand-up comedians Louise Young (28 March), Simon Evans (16 April), and Rich Hall (27 April). Younger audiences are also in for a treat with the Dahl-inspired Green Fingers (29 March) and The Golden Princess puppet show (1 June).
Theatre-goers can also support local talent with productions from Richmond Operatic Society, Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society, STEPPS Theatre Group and The Castle Players.
